The battle for the Premier League title gets hotter when high-flying Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium in Manchester to take Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in a decider which will surely have repercussions as to who will go on to win the title eventually. While the Gunners are ahead of the Citizens at the moment, the latter have two games in hand with only a five-point deficit.

When the two teams met earlier in the season, Manchester City came away winners by a 3-1 winner in the Premier League reverse fixture and 1-0 in the FA Cup. All fingers point towards another City victory this time as well, with the added advantage of them playing at home. With Erling Haaland in the form of his life, City will fancy their chances. Arsenal, on the other hand, have a terrific record away from home this season.

Injury Report

Central defender Nathan Ake is perhaps the only injured player in the Manchester City ranks while Arsenal have a long list of suchlike personnel in their side. The likes of Granit Xhaka, William Saliba, Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu will all be missing in action in perhaps the biggest game of the ongoing Premier League season.  

Prediction

In a game that can singlehandedly decide which way the Premier League will go and who will go on to become its champions, we expect Manchester City to win. It is nigh on impossible to go to the Etihad Stadium and defeat Manchester City, and we certainly don't expect Arsenal, high-flying though they may be, to do so. This promises to be a very interesting game!
